Hands, feet, and faces are complicated and we often just avoid them. If that sounds like you then come along to this workshop to receive support and advice on how to negotiate and integrate hands, feet & faces into your life drawings.

The compressed details within the smaller areas of the hands, feet and faces, change the rhythm and pace of movement within a drawing, creating many expressive possibilities.

In this workshop we build up the knowledge and confidence to work out how hands, feet, and faces can be mapped and negotiated. They can then be integrated into drawings that include the whole figure.

This workshop includes handouts with different approaches to managing scale and proportions of hands, feet and faces and we’ll focus on them throughout the day with a final long drawing integrating them with the whole figure.

Includes all materials and model.
