Artist and Photographer Sarah Wilson unveils her breathtaking photo exhibition Form and Space at Scratch this October. Having lived in the local area most of her adult life, Sarah celebrates the Inner West’s vibrant, eclectic appearance in this series of large scale abstract photographs which push and pull at the built environment, taking aspects of minimalist architecture beyond the precipice of recognition.

Citing Plato’s reasoning of patterned line, form and colour as foundational to high art, Sarah bounces her honed eye across equally sharpened architectural forms, pulling out geometry and manipulating shadows and light to striking effect.

In addition to her long listed of commercial successes, Sarah’s artistic work has featured in shows with Creative Space Gallery and Spunky Bruiser. Capture Magazine awarded Sarah a Highly Commended in the Art Category for Emerging Photographers (2021) and listed her as a Top 10 Emerging Photographer (2019) cementing her as one to watch.
